A graphic novel telling the life story of Janis Joplin. From her years at home, to her music journey. It is a story of drugs, sex and rock n roll. Tragically a life cut way to short. You'll want to listen to her songs as you read.

This was billed as a Dark Romantasy, and was my first 'Dark' novel so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. It is a mammoth book, and is split into three parts. The first part of the story deals with the MC Helena, a healer with missing memories who has been captured by the enemy. There is alchemy, necromancy, and violence in the war torn country. It is a compelling read, definitely check your triggers with this book.
Graphic Novel about Filipino siblings who want to fit in at school. Their parents run a food truck, where they are expected to help. Things become complicated when their uncle arrives, and so do some witches from Filipino folklore.
The main character has a condition where they age slowly, and live several centuries. Matt Haig has a gift of writing beautiful stories, The Midnight Library is perhaps their best known novel.
Great read, fantasy, time travel/loop, family, myth making;
