Another fantastic addition to the Thursday Murders Club series. Just as exciting with twists and unexpected reveals, but he also takes the time to address the harder parts of life - death, dementia, old age, losing love and memory. So well written and immersive. Clever characters with deep inner worlds - even the villains. I love these books so much!
I do love a good murder mystery and Agatha Raisin's are quick reads with fun characters. The village life is so enjoyable to be immersed in. Sadly poor Agatha doesn't get given many breaks in life.
I love Agatha Raisin and her antics. This was another great mystery. The characters are so creative and funny.
Deeply thoughtful and intellectual articles by C. S. Lewis on a wide range of topics. Some concepts were harder to grasp/follow but all were well reasoned and almost all still very applicable today even over 50 years later.
A fun children's adventure. Wacky and creative. Great worldbuilding.
This was an interesting look into Norse Mythology and the characters I have seen many places before. However, it was written in an old myth style that is not immersive.
I love Terry Pratchett and this book did not disappoint. Another fantastic and enjoyable book in the Night Watch series of Discworld. I love the Night Watch characters - especially Carrot and the new editions on the team. I love the mystery elements amongst the world building and character antics.
A great sci-fi adventure. Fun characters and premise. Fast paced and a quick afternoon read.
A bit slow to start but really good once it got going and the stakes got higher. I loved the twists and the heist action. The character building is detailed and you really hear their individual voices. A satisfying end for most of the characters.
Another great Agatha Raisin. Lots of twists and turns and a realistic portrayal of the court process/media. Agatha is her usual grumpy self but still lovable.
A powerhouse of a woman - such persistence and determination in the face of so much pain. A well-written portrayal of life with Endometriosis. She shows us how much you can do on willpower, but also making your voice heard. It is also frustrating and infuriating to read how the health system has let down so many women who trusted them to give the best advice.
