Outback Australian crime - not as good as Chris Hammer and others!
Had waited a while to read this. The usual chaotic drama - but the physics in this one was a bit beyond me. Nice to recognise places in Prague though!
Set in the Kaipara Harbour and Spain, spans 100 years. Fascinating ‘details’ of Spanish Civil War and aftermath.
A light read - in between. Couple of heavier ones!
Couldn't decide if this was teen fiction / YA or the start of a classic James Patterson series. Time travel, super hero type powers.....The name alone will sell!!
An unusual narrative - but one that I wanted to know more…..from the cover ‘as hopeful and uplifting book about murder as you’re likely to read’ and ‘a moving exploration of the ways in which violent crime ricochets through the lives of those left behind.’
Wanted to like this more than I did. Not sure why that was!
Again a 3.5 really. Predictable in places - unreliable narrator/s!!!!!
3.5 really. Written 2001 and republished this year with new cover. Not her best!
Outback Australian crime. #5 in a series.
Love this author and the style she writes in. Recently finished Olive Kitteridge, which was also a great read.
