An epic fantasy that was both deep and action packed.
The beginning was intriguing but the story lagged too much in the middle to be worth more than 3 stars. Normally I don't mind time travel stories but this one was 'OK' rather than great.
A great read that was impossible to put down. Not 100% sold on the ending though.
Normally I enjoy Cleave's work but this novel was a massive disappointment. The writing was jarring and the characters were weird, violent and unlikable.
This is 2.5 stars rounded up. This installment felt like an afterthought and was a bit of a disappointment after reading preceding books in the series.
A pleasant read provided one is willing to suspend belief.
It would have been five stars but the ending is a cliff-hanger.
This is a very short novella which provides the introduction to a much longer series.
Different and thought provoking I really enjoyed this engaging story.
Another 'DNF'. The pace was too slow and the plot was confused. This was a book where, for the first two thirds, not a log happens. I eventually gave up as life is too short to spend on books that one does not enjoy.
Both disjointed and tedious, I got a third of the way through and gave up. I'm still not entirely sure what the story is supposed to be about.
This one should be 3.5 because there are some issues with the logic at the end. I can't say more without spoiling it though.
This one is actually 'six' miniature books that can be read as one volume assuming one downloads the complete version.
