Another poignant story from Heather Morris, left me feeling torn giving the state of the world today - a definite read to understand the need to separate religion and state; people and power.
Another great memoir from Ruth Shaw - loved The Bookseller at the End of the World but loved this more because of the shared love of dogs and books - this book could have been written for me. It's a book I go back to and after losing my beautiful 15 year old girl this summer I read it again with a bittersweet feeling.
Saw the Netflix movie but loved the book even more - very inspiring autobiography
Theres a reason the New York Times noticed this - loved it.
A return to the old - this heads back to the beginning for Alex Cross and provides a deeper look into his early days but with the twist of seeing the early days of Gary Soneji as well - very good read for those that have read the other Alex Cross books.
The most recent addition to my decades long reading of Scarpetta novels - curious to see how the upcoming TV series translates!
Another awesome Sally Hepworth novel with her usual twist.
Still following my obsession of bookshop themed reading material - combined with crime makes for another great combination!
WW2 fiction - another awesome book that combines my current obsessions with WW2 fiction and book related fiction
Emotional and full of sound. Great NZ read - will look up the other books by this author!
A great follow up to the first Charlie Tangaroa book- perfect addition for my school library!
