A fantastic title that sees a white woman coming to terms with her family's slave-owning past (set in 1930s). A really great read that highlights the awful treatment given to slaves in the 1800s.
I love this YA author! This was a great time-travel story that focussed on familial relationships. Really good for students that aren't into sci-fi or time travel but enjoy a bit of fantasy...
A sweeping historical fiction novel set in Tasmania at the time it was being established. Strong characters!
Gritty novel about real life and the ramifications of choice.
A story about eugenics and the unjust toll it took on families and communities in the USA. Heartbreaking.

#1 What a fantastic YA trilogy. There aren't many romantic thrillers in YA but this is certainly a good one! Starts slow but ends with a bang!
Another non-fail from my most read author of 2025. This book didn't disappoint! Twists, intensity, everything Karin Slaughter is known for.
I was strangely captivated by this book - a young Amish boy with gigantism. You couldn't help but be drawn into the life stories. Well worth a read!
Brutal. Heartbreaking.
An Australian crime story but from the perspective of an aboriginal police officer, including the racism faced. Good read!
What an interesting premise and such a twist! Never underestimate a lady... Perhaps one good thing about being overlooked in earlier society!
An amazing trilogy - thrilling tale!
Another winner - heartfelt with vivid characters.
Fast paced, short chapters, which increases intensity. Eye-opening premise.
