Nice ending. Very similar to Bronze Horseman which i think is a better book.

The last third was great. Book dragged. Feel like this could have been edited down to 400-600 pages.

A well written romcom, where all characters had development and no one gave up their dreams for love. A balanced love story.

This was my second time reading this book and I have just as much love hate relationship with the story as I did the first time. The first half of the book is amazing. The vivid imagery of medical personnel in Vietnam is very vivid. However, I struggled to like the main character at first, grew to love her, but in the second half really disiked her and her choices, they were frustrating to resd. I guess the point was to show the effects of ptsd, which is done tastefully. A somewhat cliche but satisfying ending.

Loved this book! I loved how the author weaved the different character archs and time lines together. The end had me in tears. A beautifully written and captivating story.
