Fantastic NZ thriller set in remote bush. Couldn't put it down.
Easy read YA thriller.
A gothic-style story with a less than likely heroine. An interesting read.
Jumped all over the place with perspectives and time periods, which made it a little difficult to stay engaged. However, the concept was enough to want to keep reading til the end.
An easy read but a bit hard to get into. Persevered and the plot tied together better than initially expected.
An easy read - simplistic but uses extensive jargon from the equestrian environment. Interesting if you like or follow the equestrian world. I disliked the protagonist. She was arrogant and immature. This is a series and I would not be interested in continuing.
This series is essentially one plot with varying characters perspectives. Fortunately the plot is evolving - the relationships between the characters, feels forced at times, like the author is trying too hard to be spicy - but I feel committed to seeing the plot out - which means another installment!
This series is one big plot broken up into perspectives. It's closer to the climax which is good.
The most action packed yet.
More action packed which is great. Queer friendly which is refreshing.
Less racy, more character development which is better.
A tidy psychological thriller with a strong female protagonist.
More romantasy than I'd like. A bit more plot development needed - an easy read.
Just as good as The Echo Man. A little more predictable - you think! Then the end..
A must read YA novel. A clever mix of The Crucible, Lord of the Flies and A Handmaid's Tale.
Awkwardly written at times. Plot was in chronological order but jumped months/weeks at times. Characters could have been developed a little more.
Fantastic psychological thriller.
A bit hard to get into. I'm not a huge fan of sci-fi/dystopia and this novel had inklings of both. It jumped around a fair bit in, and I would have liked to feel more invested in the characters.
