Good little short story - love the style of writing but not a lot actually happens.
So good , l loved the first book and the second is just as gripping.
What a treat ! The audiobook is narrated by Witi Ihimaera. You feel so private that to hear the author himself reading it how it was meant to be read/heard. It feels like an insight into him (a bit private at times ) but also his world. I recall reading it as a teenager but the stories , especially about tipuna hit differently as an adult.
Sooooo gripping. Just hope the movie does it justice. Also, can’t wait to read the sequel !
I found it similar to an ocd and/or autistic Bridget Jones. Highly entertaining and witty but also has a very serious side.
Excellent, can’t wait to use as a novel study. So many good moments to draw from
Loved hearing about her childhood, so relatable of you were a child of the 80s. An easy to read memoir and such an amazing story of an amazing female role model.
Not my usual read, but was intrigued. The detail and description is insane.
