Not as good as the first one but still a massive twist at the end. I’m kind of pissed off about it to be fair. But hey - that means it was a great book! A lot more world building and more battle in this one - which as a fantasy reader I loved. Can’t wait to see what’s next with Onyx Storm!
Took me a while to get to this one but after TOG, ACOTAR and CC, this was a nice easy fantasy read. Love the chemistry. Love the sneakiness. Love the unknowing. LOVED THE END!!
Wow. What an ending to an incredible journey. Can’t wait for ACOTAR 6! for anyone who has read ACOTAR - you need to read TOG and then crescent city. Otherwise to be honest you deserve the version of ACOTAR 6 that you get. Bryce Quinlan is an absolute badass. Such an incredible FMC.
I’m actually spooked by this book. My heart was racing the entire time. I also managed to finish this one really quickly - as I couldn’t put it down! Wow. What a twist. What suspense!
WHAT THE ACTUAL FRICK????? this book was NEXT LEVEL. I’m going to need a break from fantasy and read something in between because WTAF???
I have never read a book before that I felt reflected my life - as well as my hurt. Although I am not as outspoken and radical as Māreikura, the amount of tears I cried during this book showed me the connection I felt. I am my tīpunas wildest dream.
Never cried so often reading a book before. What an incredible mix of fantasy, crime, betrayal and romance. Looking forward to the next one.
