Fearless was an enjoyable read that continued the story from Reckless. While the pace didn’t hit quite as hard or surprise me as much as Powerless and Reckless, it still delivered some unexpected twists that kept things interesting. I liked seeing the characters grow and how their relationships developed under pressure. Overall, it’s a solid addition to the series that’s satisfying and keeps you invested in the story.

Reckless was an intense, emotional ride from start to finish. The stakes felt higher, the characters were more layered, and the tension never really let up. I loved how the relationships deepened and how the story wasn’t afraid to get messy and make things hurt in the best way. The pacing was spot on, with plenty of twists that kept me hooked and eager to keep reading. It’s the kind of book that pulls you completely into its world and leaves you thinking about it long after you’ve finished.

Powerful was a really enjoyable, quick read that added extra depth to the Powerless world. I liked getting more insight into Adena and Mak, and their relationship brought a lot of heart to the story. The themes of loyalty and sacrifice were handled well, with several moments that landed emotionally. I would recommend reading this novella alongside Powerless; reading them as a tandem would make the experience even more rewarding. The context from the main novel helps Powerful feel richer and more impactful. Overall, it’s a strong companion read that enhances the series.

Powerless by Lauren Roberts is a super gripping fantasy that’s hard to put down. It follows Paedyn, a girl who has to hide the fact she has no powers in a world where having power is everything. The story is full of danger, twists, and slow-burn tension, and it really pulls you in. If you like fast-paced fantasy with strong characters and high stakes, this book is definitely worth the read.
