I initially found it hard to get into as the plot felt like it jumped around a lot. However, it was worth persevering with as it was a good thriller. Enjoyable characters.
I enjoyed this quiet jaunt through the retirement woes of a married couple. It was refreshing to hear from characters in the older age bracket as this is atypical from most books I read.
An amusing look at the diet culture in NZ. I appreciated the author's openness about her experiences with weight gain and dieting. Slightly repetitive at times, but a book I'd recommend, especially to women in NZ.
A character-based (not fast plot) book that was an interesting insight into someone who was examining his sense of self and family. I enjoyed it but not sure it would be for those who like a good plotline.
