A bit frightening to have finished this the day before a terror attack in Australia. I found this really powerful, and beautifully written!
A really powerful story, with a lot of nuance considered that elevates it - I am left thinking about my views on incarceration and rehabilitation, and nature vs nurture.
Brilliant - teaching to my year 11s in 2026.
A great review led me to this, but I was really disappointed. I was hoping for a visceral feminist monster hunting story, but it read very young and was clumsy in its character and relationship development. Ah, well!
