Three stars because it wasn't the contemporary romantic comedy that I wanted it to be. Definitely more of a spicy romance--but if that's what you're after, it'd probably be a five star read.
One of my favourite Beth O'Leary novels: The No-Show is a compelling romantic comedy with a mystery at its centre.
Not my fav of O'Leary's, but all her books are incredible if you're into contemporary rom-coms
A solid cozy fantasy about an evil witch turned good after being released from her abusive father figure's control.
A lovely, cozy fantasy romance akin to Practical Magic, but a bit more lighthearted.
I laughed out loud so many times reading this book. Following Greta, Valdin and their wider family and all of their romantic exploits is a great time.
One of the best books I've read this year, Lioness is an exploration of the conundrum of being female, of what it means to live authentically and to be a good person.
