Awful. But Mum duties
Really don't love these books but I am reading them to me son at night
A lovely book that canvases the importance and strength of teenage friendships. It has so many ups and downs weaving through present day narrative and retelling of the past. Heartwarming
I never felt much of a connection to Lizzie in the previous books. I found her interactions with everyone annoying and over the top. It was great to get her back story and understand her more. Actually quite a heartbreaking story, and now I am waiting for the next book to come out to see how things unfold
This is my favourite book I have read so far this summer. Exploring the idea of how a persons life can be altered if you were given a different name at birth. The idea of how life can take a completely different path if you make a different decision, or didn’t met a certain person, or took a different job, or dated someone else is such a fascinating concept, that I think most people think about during their own life. Beautifully written, great pace. Characters you love and hate. A really great read
Love how this series is all told by different characters perspectives. Each book is usually centered around a couple and their friends always intertwining between each book. This time it was Gibsie and Claire’s story. It was great to finally get into these characters in more depth in what turned out to be quite a harrowing back story. What started out as being a series that I was reading to see if it was suitable for younger readers at the library I work in, it has turned into a series I can’t stop reading. One more to go!
Really enjoyed this book more than Saving 6. I liked to experience the storyline of her previous books through another character. This one was more dramatic. I have accidentally become addicted to teenage BookTok
