I didn't enjoy this as much as I though I would. It was irritatingly repetitive at times. I bit of a dissappointment.
I really enjoyed listening to this ghost story about iris and her friend Daniel who discovered a forgotten gravestone whilst making snow angels. Afterwards Iris's home-life and sleeping is disturbed. her achievements at school are ignored and being one of the only black girls in her year, she feels is maybe be deliberate. The concluding book in the Book of Dust trilogy did not disappoint. The book felt like a mirror for humanity in this current state of affairs. I don't think I'm ready to leave Lyra's world yet.

Or is there more to it than that. Violet and her bandmates investigate another mystery? I didn't enjoy this book quite as much as I enjoy the first book.
