If you're after a fast paced psychological thriller that you can finish in a day or two, then you will probably enjoy this book. This one is the second book in the series... start with the first and if you like that then this one will probably appeal too. These are not exactly a literary masterpiece but twisty, punchy and a fun read.
An entertaining read that was easy to binge. This is my 3rd or 4th book by this author and you do start to predict what will happen based on the other books she has written, she seems to follow a formula. None of the characters were very relatable but I still enjoyed reading it. I'm looking forward to watching the movie.
Loved this book! Perfect summer holiday read if you are into thrillers.
A comforting quick read, but not a lot actually happening.
This is a story that will make you cry, and sometimes laugh. A beautiful and heartfelt book.
I definitely didn't think a book about tuberculosis of all things would hook me in. This was an eye-opening book for me! I didn't even realise that tb was still a thing, but it turns out it's still the most deadly infectious disease in the world?! Even though it's preventable AND curable. This book touches on the history of TB, social impacts, evolution over time, inequalities of treatment and so on. Much more than just 'tuberculosis'. I am not generally much of a non-fiction reader but this is one I would recommend!
If I could give half stars it would be a 3.5 out of 5. Started slow but picked up. Lots of interesting characters and quite heart warming. It's based around the concept of time travel in a very simplistic way, just don't think too much about it or try to make it make sense... Contemplating ordering the next book just to revisit the characters.
Lots of twists. Very enjoyable read all the way through, a little hectic towards to end.
Loved this. The sort of book you finish in 2 days with lots of unexpected twists.
Easy to read. Layered storytelling mostly about friendship and how it changes over time. Made me to want to play video games.
