This is the 4th book I have read by this author and was not disappointed. She tells a great story and keeps you guessing the outcome to the end.
It was worth ploughing through the continuous experimentation Marconi did in creating communication by electromagnetic waves which was the main theme and content of this book, to the exciting build up of the arrest of Dr Crippen in the last chapters. Not my usual choice of reading but it was riveting due to the sprinkles about Dr Crippen throughout the book.
Brought back many memories of my time in Tuscany and in particular the town the author was writing about.
Although I learnt a lot about cat behaviour and management i found it very repetitive and unnecessarily so. Great tips some of which I have implemented to mitigate some negative behaviours of my fur babies.
Jane can certainly keep you keen to continue reading the story. Lots of twists and turns and dark themes but a satisfying ending.
Great reading of this short story on Radio National.
Catherine is a great writer. Humourous account of infatuation and family dynamics
A remarkable read of human strength and wisdom
Light read
Great writing
Unsettling content in 2 of the chapters
